It sounds like a good price for you, but yes, it may be overpriced for them. An easy way to price something is to figure out your food cost and then charghe 4x that. Generally you want the total price to be 1/4 food cost, 1/4 labor, 1/4 overhead, 1/4 profit.



For the little ones, just bake them-and then the store is going to purchase something like rich's bettercreme so it has a long shelf life. For the large ones, swirl icing on them, but they do not want decorations as they will be selling their candies to put on the cupcakes.....so maybe I'm overpricing? I just don't want to spend the money for nice cupcakes and end up not making any money:(
