I've never been sorry that I started doing this 44 years ago and continue to do it now.  I got to stay home and raise my kids, work my schedule around their schedules at school, ballgames, etc.  I didn't have to go out to work, but yet could help with household expenses.  The appreciative people far out number the ones who aren't appreciative, I think - at least in my area they do, but I'm in rural area Midwest, too!
