"sponsorships" - anyone else get this request?

: I don't get a ton, but at least a couple times a year I get someone who will email me to ask if I would like to give them a cake for free as a "sponsor"!

Honestly, who told someone that this is an OK thing to do? I feel like writing back exactly what I think about thier idea, but instead I just delete it and fume silently (or on here evidently LOL)
