Hi Denise C this is DeniseNH and I have a great idea for you, just go to your local pet store in the fish department and you'll be able to find all sorts and sizes there then purchase some two part molding medium from Dolores on this site and in a half hour you'll have the exact mold of your dreams. Of course I can't think of the name of the stuff right now, wait I'll go find it. Ahhhhh Silicone Putty. It's a God's send. IF you live out in the boonies and there is no pet place then take a few bottles of mini white candy beads, the itty bitty ones and put them into a shallow dish then pour white chocolate into the dish in the form of choral and then don't touch it but do pour additional white candies over the top and let it harden - I don't know how you'd get this to stand up on top of a cake but pouring a white chocolate base then insert hardened choral into the base before it hardens might help.
: Hi Everyone,
I'm mostly a lurker but have been on this site for years. Most of my cakes are for friends or family and I have a shell wedding cake coming up in August. The picture the bride gave me has a big piece of "coral" on top of the cake. I've searched this site and in different places on the internet and cannot find a mold for coral. Does anybody have a suggestion as to where I can get one?
Thanks.
Denise
