Put it in the freezer. It should pop off like hardened chocolate out of a mold.

: I've recently started flanking my cakes with a set of five tiered glass votive holders but have a problem. How do you get the melted wax out of them easily. The chef told me to put a bit of water in before I put the new candle in place. Any other hints.
