: I'm looking for some help. I'm using a Canon ip3500 printer(4 ink cartridges)for edible icing sheets and can not print red. I have tried ink from different companies and changed my computer settings. Nothing seems to be working. Should I invest in a printer that has 6-8 ink cartridges for better print quality and will that work? I will listen to any tips and advice. Thanks so much

The newer model will print better. I've gone through 4800, 5000, 6000, 9000 and a few inbetween.

But I sure did not like my 9900 cannon printer at all. All the above are in my dumpster now. This is disgusting! The ink dries up in all the Cannon printers no matter what. I got the epson c88+ and it worked good for awhile. Now it prints tracks on the pictures. So I decided it isn't worth the stress. One hint to stop - Krogers stopped printing them here too.
