Edible images

I have tried several different papers to make edible images on and have yet to find satisfaction...The last ones I purchased are thick like shoe leather. They can be cut through but the ink doesnt absorb into them good leaving smears and they dont absorb into the cake like the ones you buy in the store do. Any idea of who makes a good brand of these would be much appreciated...thank you and have a great week!
