Anyone work with polycarbonate molds?

I am getting into the truffles and bite-size chocolates now and was wondering if anyone here has dealt with polycarbonate molds or the magnetic molds as opposed to the plastic candy molds? I hear that you get a better shine on the outside of the chocolate and that they are more durable but more expensive.
