Very interesting. Never heard of them. Are they white instead of clear? I was always instructed to buff each mold off with a soft paper towel between each use to rid the mold of oil residue to get the shine back on each molded chocolate. Try that, you'll be pleased. The human eye can't see this film - and removal of it really does bring the shine out.


: I am getting into the truffles and bite-size chocolates now and was wondering if anyone here has dealt with polycarbonate molds or the magnetic molds as opposed to the plastic candy molds? I hear that you get a better shine on the outside of the chocolate and that they are more durable but more expensive.
