Neat gadget! This nail assumes you won't need a center in your rose. Using royal icing of course. I saw a really cute wedding cake using the hat nail once. They made royal icing roses all around the cake with lights in the hollow place from using this nail. The lights showed through nicely. Not garrish. You need to fit wax paper around the 'hat' so you can pull the roses off the nail...price going up isn't it? LOL
