Edible Image Question

I am doing a cake for an outdoor July 4th wedding. Carrot cake with cream cheese filling, so it needs refrigeration. An edible image will be on it that has dark blues, purples and reds. The cake is going to travel for at least an hour to get to the destination, and I will not be traveling with it. In the typical Maine heat and humidity, the cake will most likely sweat. Will the edible image run, or will the fact that it becomes part of the icing prevent this? Any help will be greatly appreciated, since I am not familiar with edible image use. Thank you!
