To do leaves:
Cut out the leaf w/gumpaste leaf cutter
Tool to thin it around the edges
Press a vein using the leaf veiner
Wire: (Must use cloth covered wire like we carry), make a hook on the end like Little Bo Peep's staff.
Dampen (not real wet) the hooked part and insert that end into the center vein of the leaf. Let dry overnight.

You can curl and twist the leaves a little to make them more real...and petal dust them mostly green with a tiny touch of brown if you like.

Once dried, use floral tape...split it 3 times so tap is not so wide and wrap it around the wire at base of leaf in an angle...so it won't get thick. Now wrap it to where it will be covered when you cluster them. Not all the way down.

Put the set of leaves together with the same floral tape. TIP: Look at pictures if you don't have the flower in your garden. It will help to assemble them properly. Dolores at www.sugarcraft.com
