: I have some folks that I made some special cookies for and later found out (like a year later) that they kept the cookies as keepsakes. Well needless to say the cookies are not holding up too well. I said that I would make them the same thing in a material that was ment to be dried and kept.

That being said, would it be better to make these keepsakes out of slatdough, or gumpaste, or what is that other stuff....cold porcaline??? I made one round of saltdough and was not pleased with how they came out. I want to change the design a bit and remake them.

What do you think folks?
