I have used the gold dust to make a gold bar cake. I covered the cake in golden yellow fondant and mixed golddust with clear vanilla. I covered ok but wasn't the exact match that I was looking for. My customer liked it and thats all that matters. Dolores sells a new product called gold or silver shimmer. Go to her main page and scroll down about 3/4 ths and you will find it. There is also a picture of a cake using the gold shimmer product. I have heard that it works great. I will definetely try it next time. I didn't have enough time to order for the gold bar.

Any tips? Brush on? Spray on? Wet? Dry? Any comments are appreciated. Sorry to stay away so long, but if you had a glimpse into my life, you would forgive me :)

Oh, I was thinking of 12, 8, and 4in for the tiers. Thanks so much
