What Wilton says (because color-flow is their brand name), is that it is pure and meringue powder used for royal icing contains other ingredients.

When I wanted really strong icing I used nothing but egg white and sifted conf. sugar. No water. Just add sugar and beat with a fork until it stands in peaks. It isn't as much trouble as it sounds. Make this in small amounts though.
