There is a great one by Nicholas Lodge that I'm sure Delores Sales. It is the ISAC catalog dvd...demonstrates various tools and well as a great step byt step video demo of the all in one rose. Check with Delores.

: Jeff, thanks so much for your encouragement. I will keep trying. I sure wish there was a video I could watch. I feel like I'm all thumbs.

: I'd been making roses for years when I tried the all in ones....and it was hard at first! Keep trying. The big thing in matching the right size petal to the cone.

Now I usually use the 5 petal cutters to make the bud [2 petals] and first row [3 petals] from one 5 petal cutout. I then cut a second 5 petal cutout, remove one petal, and use the remaining for for the 3rd row of 4 petals. Row 5 and 6 are individual petals shaped in my spoon former [pointed tip roses], or two cutouts with the 5 petal for a country rose. After thinning and ruffling with a ball tool, I let these dry about 15 minutes upside down in a small bowl, then attach to the base. I offset the two sets of petals, and stuff bits of cotton between the petals to separate them until the roses dried [upside down of course].

Just keep practicing....you'll get it.

: I ordered a set of 5 petal rose cutters. Don't know what is wrong with me, but I can't make them. Bought the cones, and made Mrs Barloca's recipe. Am I the only one to have this problem? Making roses with the individual petals is fine, except, I am trying to save time with this method.
