You would cut a triangular shape out of each corner then put the top into place and maneauver the sides together. Then I would take a bit of royal icing and put it onto the cut ends and wipe off with your finger (acts as putty for a seamless finish)

: Hi all, I am attempting a Tiffany box this week. I was wondering if you had any tips on how to make the lid have square cornors as opposed to pinched looking (I am going to use fondant).
