:: I made my first ever batch of MMF today and was really excited about how easily it went together (Did it in the Kitchen Aid) and how nice it looks. I'm going to be covering a small guitar with it and am wondering if I can do details on the guitar with buttercream icing or if they should be done with royal icing. It's the white "Guitar Hero" guitar and has gray and black details. (Frets, knobs, etc.)
Thanks

I did a Hanna Montana guitar for my granddaughter. I bought the Hanna Montana guitar and traced around it. I used a 9x13 pan to do the body of the guitar. I made a pattern from the actual guitar, than cut it out of the 9x13 cake. Than cut two strips off an 8 in cake for the neck of the guitar. If I knew how to post the picture i would. I also ordered an edible image from Dolores of Hanna Montana and put that on the main part of the guitar
