I used to just use thicker fondant but this last time I applied a light coating of butter cream before covering
with the fondant. When I make a 3 D dog I do smash the Rice crispies until they are almost flat for molding the tail and ears.


: Since rice krispy treats are bumpy, rather than smooth, how do you
cover a "rice krispy treat cake" with fondant? Thicker fondant?

Also, how do you price this out? My real cakes start at $3/serving.

Any other helps/hints would be so appreciated. Thanks so much!
