...I take 2 sizes of circles, usually the cake icer tip and a large tip, and mark the centers. Then pipe petals using Ateco tip #352, that's a large v leaf. I pipe them so some appear to be in front of others, and I use at least 3 shades of gold/brown for visual interest. then pipe thick stems and leaves in dark sage. brown. Finally,I pipe ganache centers with a writing tip to look like the seeds. HTH! PS. Looks REALLY GREAT on a deep blue back ground!: For those of you who may have made these-do you make them ahead and air dry, or pipe directly onto the cake? Thanks.
