I like to do my cakes based on the intrest of the people. I have done girl and doy twins and combined the intrests of cats and trains into a train full of cats. Or, how about making the 2 guys out of gumpaste or fondant and putting them on the cake doing something they have in common such as fishing, bowling, hunting, laying on lawn chairs drinking beer etc... Ask your client to tell you more about the people the cake is for. then think out of the box.

: My neighbor has requested a large sheet cake for a combined birthday for two men turning 41. I really made many cakes for men so its hard for me to come up with a design. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also the largest sheet pan that I have is a Wilton 11x15 is it possible to put two side by side and ice them as one? Has anyone had any problems with the seem showing between the two? I much rather make cakes for women and children much easier. LOL TIA.
