Hi. I've "retired" from doing cakes except an extremely few select people. One of those people called needing 2 sheet cakes to feed, she said, around 150 - that's how many have been invited, there could be some drop-ins. Will 2 double layered 11x15's be enough cake or do I need to make 2 double layered 12 x 18's? The lunch is being catered casually. Forgot to ask if there will be any other desserts available. I haven't made sheet cakes in at least 3 years. Can't remember the serving sizes or anything. I don't plan to decorate, either, just chocolate shavings and chocolate drizzled down the sides......life is way to busy to worry about decorating. If any of you have price suggestions, I'd welcome them.......I live in a cheap, rural area. Person placing the order is my daughter's 2nd grade teacher from last year, cake is for her husband who spent most of the year extremely close to death in a hospital but is making a slow recovery and is finally home. Big celebration. I want to make up my expenses and more but wouldn't feel comfortable charging her a whole lot. Thanks for your help.
