I just made one yesterday. I have the customer buy the charms- they are expensive- and then I thread them onto tiny ribbons about 8" long. I then put them under the bottom layer of cake (on the cake board) with the ribbons hanging out. Then ice as usual. I do a lot of package cakes like this- lots of bows and streamers. I don't know how to post a picture, sorry. HTH!


: A customer of mine requested a "charm cake" and I'm not exactly sure what she means. I'm guessing she's talking about a type of wedding or shower cake with the charms in between the layers. Can anyone elaborate or show me a picture?
