We also increased the oven temp to 375 when baking cupcakes to make them "peak". This worked well for applying icing with a pastry tip.
this is the information that I was hoping to get. I'll check with the stores on Monday and thanks for the tip about baking at 375 degrees. I'm not sure if I want them to "peak" because I'm planning to put 3 hearts (different sizes) on each cupcake because the colors are brown, white and powder blue. But this is still good info. to know.
