I've seen wedding cakes decorated with black candy. Licorice sticks up the sides, spaced out, dots of little black candies the size of M & M's and a cute bow on top made of loops of shoestring licorice. Licorice comes in red too. I could look through my candy aisle for neat candy shapes and decorate with them.

: I saw a cake that was made to look like a big candy kiss. I don't remember if it was
in Mail Box News or just where but I believe the decorator covered the cake with
silver colored fondant. Maybe someone else on this board remembers that cake and
can give you more information or just come up with your own version. I have also
seen candy bar cakes made to look like a candy bar.
