Ok, what about a square cake with tall pillars in the center holding up a half soccer ball dome. Then place some sort of statue they may be able to lend you, in the center. Color the dome with blue and gold then place blue bunting around the edges of the square? I did something like this for an Eagle Scout cake. Placed a statue of an eagle with spread wings in the center of the columns - looked impressive.

: I've been asked to make a cake for a dinner meeting for my son/brother's Masonic Lodge. I've made several for functions at their lodge since they've joined, and my ideas are running thin. Other than the blue and gold colors and their compass and square emblem, I'm lost.
I purchased every sized Masonic emblem mold that Dolores had available and have used them in one way or another.
The only thing that I can come up with is changing the shape of the cake...I've made sheetakes and cupcakes previously.
Any ideas?
