What are his interests? My son's would be video games. He is 14 so I would make a cake shaped like a Xbox game system with controllers. One year he wanted a cavern so I made a cavern and hollowed out the middle and put rock candy inside to look like crystal. Another year he wanted a cake shaped like a laser gun because he was having a laser tag birthday party. I'm sure he is hooked on something.
