There are two different ways of measureing amounts of cake servings 1.) wedding and 2.) party. Party servings are larger than wedding. On my homemade chart the 10 & 8 double tiers will serve 52 wedding servings and probably 36 party. You'll need two cakes.

: How much cake will I need to be able to serve 80 people? I have an 8" and a 10" square pan which I would like to use. I plan to make 2 8" squares and 2 10" squares and stack them to make a tiered cake. I'm not against having 2 identical cakes if necessary.
