I just made a laptop cake (actually two laptops back to back). I just used a 9x13 cake and made a fondant covered cardboard screen to stand up. I made edible images for the keyboard and then airbrushed the screen to look like the windows screen saver. The only problem I had was trying to make the two screens stand up. I finally ended up chocolating them together. But you shouldn't have that problem. Good luck!
