Fighting with MOB over daughter's cake, whose right?

: I use IMBC exclusivly.  Sometimes you get ahold of an extra yellow batch of butter.  I compensated by adding Wilton Whiteners.  Looked great but when it got into the dark hall it looked off white.  Went home and apologized to the bride via email and got a response from her two days later telling me how beautiful it was as well as delicious and thanked me so much for all I did for her and not to worry about the color cuz no one would notice.  Today I got an email from the MOB and she wants compensation because SHE is the one who paid for the cake.  This MOB also complained about the fold lines in the table linen and told the facility manager that her staff was disrespectful during the wedding vows because she caught some of the teens stairing at the ceiling.  And the list goes on.  My question is, if the bride loves the cake, do I need to compensate the MOB because she was not.
