I'm still getting stacked cake orders but have noticed that the trend is going slowly back to more feminine cakes with lace and fondant cutouts. I bought out the stock of an elderly cake decorator and have always said, if "Plastic makes a comeback - I'm SO ready".

: I have several wedding cake order for the summer...all with pillars and plates...and a couple with the water fountain! I haven't done cakes like that in years...I'm even going to have to order separator plates!

Anyone else getting these type orders?
