Yes, I substitute the amaretto for some of the liquid. I start with a Tbsp. or two and add more if I want a stronger flavor.

What ratio of Amaretto do you use in your Amaretto Buttercream Icing recipe? Do you substitute say 1-2 T. for the milk?
: What sounds good for a filling for an Almond wedding cake, other than Raspberry or Strawberry?
