I had an order like that recently. Was a second marriage for the bride, but a first for the groom. She had no interest in planning another wedding, but he wanted to do it, so he took care of everything from the arrangements to the decorating and all. He described to me over the phone what he wanted and what size. He kept saying, "I picture it looking like this... and then he would describe his vision of the cake. He mailed me a check, I made and delivered the cake to a place where one of his friends was keeping watch over the reception site and directing caterers, etc. Another friend of his returned all my equipment after the wedding. I never even met the groom face to face, but I did hear that he was very pleased with the cake.
