I was actually talking about undecorated cupcakes at the kitchen cake price.
Actually, cupcakes are really fast for me, I have a convection oven so I can bake 72 at a time. No prep work for the pan. They bake quick, cool quick, no leveling or torting, and take just a few seconds to put an icing swirl on. I found out I can get 12ct plastic cupcake containers from my supplier for 50cents.
Now if they were decorated, that would be different.
