I had a bride INSIST she could spend only $300. on her cake so we went back and forth to try and make it work (while factoring in the stand, fabric over the stand and the delivery fee). We sat down to talk and Mummy pulls out a check for the final amount which came to $550. I tried to keep my jaw from dropping on the table. They think it's an auction and try to get the price down as low as possible then go with whatever they wanted in the first place.

: especially since I had to turn down some other orders for that same weekend!
