Can't say you didn't learn in the school of hard knocks! We've all been there.

What I did...for my VERY best friends I would do a small cake worth about the same as the dollars I'd spend on a gift, maybe a little more. THEN for the ones that wanted to feed 300 people, I'd subtract the part that was my gift and charge them the rest.

I have also offered 10% discounts.
