Personal opinion....unless you are piping them directly onto the cupcakes, use royal icing. It is almost impossible to remove a buttercream daisy from waxed paper without breakage.
I use a 102 or 103 tip for petals and a 7 or 8 for the center, which I flatten after it sits a bit with my fingertip.
: Can anyone tell me the easiest way to make butter cream daisies and with what tip? Need to make spring flowers for Bridal cupcakes and I have never made daisies.
