I had three weddings this weekend, and two of the cakes came out normally, but the third did the SAME THING!!! It's almost as if the icing had "folds" or wrinkles. Again,I didn't do anything differently, and used the same batch of icing for all of my cakes. None of the birthday cakes did it either. I use DH religiously- would never use anything else. From a distance, it almost looked as though I had formed vertical lines up the sides of the cake. But up close it just looked weird. At least it had some ribbon on it to hide some. I had no idea how to post it on here, I'm so glad you did, Blondie!!
