O.K...I have never used hidden pillers either. Do you press the cake plate on the layer and the feet make the imprint where to insert the pillars? Once you attach the cake plate to the feet, do you just set your cake that has been placed on a cake board on top of the cake plate?If so, does it not slide? Last question.....Do cake plates come in all different sizes of square? Thanks so much
