I am having a problem with fondant swags that go around the edges of round cakes. I use regular decorator frosting (crusting) but the swags don't stay on. Do I have to cover the cake in fondant in order to have fondant swags adhere? the fondant swags I did this past week for a trial run, I rolled the out, the pleated them like Chef Leah said...fold them fan style real fast, then I put a fast squirt of frosting on the edge of the swag and push it on, they stay on for a while but by morning they had all fallen off. can anyone give me some help with this? I need to do this for a wedding cake in two weeks. thank you so very much. Jane/Maine
