My opinion...I don't see any reason for you not to charge AT LEAST what a bakery does per serving. You are worth more than they are.

For sheet cakes I would either make a plain sheet cake with NO filling or charge the same for those as for the tiered cake.

Sue wasn't me who suggested sheet cakes LOL...and I always 'prepare' brides who ask, that home decorators charge more and make better cakes - and they don't advertize because they don't need to. Dolores at sugarcraft.com
