Hello All,
I am making a 5-tier wedding cake with each tier not stacked, but slightly above the preceeding layer, with flowers separating each cake tier (you've all seen this style cake). I was wondering if I can just use the floating separators and place the cake (on its board) on top of the floating tiers, or if I need something more stable. How do you guys typically do these kinds of cakes? Seems like the way I'm proposing to do it will make for an unstable cake.
