Sorry, I just can't leave this alone. If what is shown in the pictures is what the manager found "when she arrived to sort out the problem", then how does she KNOW that no one there disturbed it? Sounds like someone there caused the problem and is either lying to cover up what he/she did, or the manager is covering for him/her. Also, the bottom tier that was still on the table would have been edible, even if it didn't look pretty anymore. How can she say that none of the cake could be served? They could have cut that bottom tier in the kitchen and then served slices to the guests.

Here are the two pictures I took when I arrived to sort out the problem with the cake., around 12.30.
Our chef put together what he could for the table, but none of the cake could be served.
I would recommend that you refund in full the money paid , in order to keep your reputation. There were definitely no supports in the cakes at all. The cake had fallen down within an hour of you leaving it, and was not disturbed by anyone here.
