 Hi sugar friends!

Hoping you all will join us for a gumpaste flower/berry class, October 15/16 (Monday/Tuesday).  Kim Whale ill be hosting the class at her home! She lives in Rockwood, MI (about 25 miles from Dearborn) She also is about 40 minutes from the Ohio border. I'll be teaching my new class, Berries and Blossoms. Here's the class description, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me. Seating is limited. We also will have our Michigan DOS on Oct. 13/14, so if you wish to join us for that, we would LOVE to have you come along! The DOS is in Dearborn (So. East side of Michigan). BERRIES AND BLOSSOMS CLASS



This action packed, two day class will feature quality, lifelike flowers and berries that the brides are asking for today….. You will create these beauties from thin sheets of gumpaste and then color with dusts to give them that beautiful lifelike finish. First, The phalaenopsis or moth orchid. This flower is very easy to make and so impressive! Next, the ever so popular cymbidium orchid, will totally impress your customers. The gerbera daisy is one of the most popular wedding flowers today, and so beautifully done is sugar. You will also learn some beautiful filler berries, like the popular hypericum berry and the gorgeous bittersweet berry spray. We also will create the gorgeous Casablanca (white mountain) lily, this lily is so real looking you’ll want to smell it! Also, ONLY if we have time, I am willing to do a bonus flower, lily of the valley.

The cost of the two day class is $250.00. I will supply all of the gumpaste and dusts to complete your flowers. There are very little supplies that are REQUIRED, but having some does help. We will share cutters and veiners if necessary.

A deposit of $125.00 is required and the balance of the class is due two weeks prior to class. Space may be limited, first come, first serve, but please let me know if you are interested. Any skill level is welcome! (If you are buying an airline ticket, PLEASE do not purchase it until I tell you the class is definitely on.)
