I found the 'squeezit mold painters' to be more accurate and faster than any brush I tried to use. Especially when we had 300 lolliess to make overnight! We laid them on a bath towel and put a heating pad over the bottles. To refill, melt in micro. When done, just unplug it. To resume, plug in the heating pad and get dinner .

If chocolate is too thick it won't hurt to add paramount crystals and thin it down. Often you want chocolate thinner to paint. Colors tend to be thicker anyway. I see no reason not to combine your chocolate brands but never tried it.
