Help me understand what you mean by poured sugar. Poured Fondant or lollipop type stuff the pros call pulled sugar? It sounds like the bottle is absorbing moisture from you refrigerator or getting cold in the fridge then taking on dew drops of moisture when it comes out of the frige - which weakened it. Lollipops are fine in regular non-humid room air. I wish I could help you out more. Best of luck.
