After one disaster, the only way I will ship chocolates and truffles during warm weather is in an insulated container with a frozen cold pack, and it must go overnight. The cost is prohibitive unless you are a huge company that gets an enormous discount from FedEx or UPS. UPS told me that their southern warehouses were air conditioned, but the box arrived completely melted. This was the first week of June, destination Florida.
