Candy pretzel "fingers"

Hi-- I just ran across what seems like a cute Halloween party idea-- rolling a pretzel in candy melts and sticking an almond slice on at the end for a "fingernail." I've never done this before, and a couple of questions come to mind: Is there any way to dry these so that there is no flat side? (I'm assuming that if you dry them vertically, the chocolate will sag down to the bottom?) How far ahead can I do these-- how long can they be stored, and how should I store them? TIA
