On top of the candy's you mentioned, I've now made about 25-30 batches of cream pulled candy....its a Kentucky favorite...cooked and pulled like taffy, wrapped in waxed paper and stored in an airtight container overnight...turns into a soft, chalk like consistency candy with an hint of vanilla and caramel flavors. Very traditional for the holidays around here but takes much practice to master...hence few people make it.

: I cannot tell you how tired I am of sugar, water and corn syrup after making candy for friends, family and customes for the holidays. I dont think i ever realized how many candies start with this concotion lol. I now have experience with fudge, divinity and peanut brittle oh the joy of living in a small town with lots of older folk who love these candies from the past. Anyway, I am glad it is over and I can stop feeling sticky all the time. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL!
