Decorating icing

Hi, Everyone,

Need some advice. I'm tired of the old Wilton decorating icing recipe. I tried using half Crisco (I have found some of the old Crisco still at the grocery store) and half butter, but found it to be too soft. I know soon I won't even be able to get the regular Crisco. Anyway, does anyone have a suggestion for an icing recipe made differently than the Wilton that's good for decorating that won't be droopy. Or any advice on making it stiffer? Leave it in the refrigerator longer?

Thanks for any advice.
